Augmented Reality is slated to have a growth and prominence far exceeding Virtual Reality. However, this enigmatic technology has limited penetration and exposure within the Australian market. Regardless of this, there are a small number of developers and content creators that have access to this technology, with unique and varying implementations. This event brings some of these AR technologies into the light to explore what AR means to develop for, how to gain access to it, and, in the case of mobile-based AR applications, how they can be used to Augment campaigns and products across many verticals (Games, VR, Film, Retail, etc). This meet up will include a hands-on session with selected AR technologies.
